I think it was me who said that we can be in more than one place at a time. I’ll stand by it, even though I can see that it might look like a bit of digital zealotry.

The place you’re in is defined by what you can do, the people you’re with and your relationship with the world. Once you have direct, real time communication with a person or group they’re present for you. You are, in a sense, in the same place.

Using the word ‘really’ to mean ‘geographically’ might not be appropriate any more, so you can really be in more than one place at a time. Fun, isn’t it.
